CEC is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization, and our two decades of success is due in large part to support from people like you. Volunteer Opportunities
CEC is always looking for volunteers. If you live in the Capital
District or Buffalo areas, and have some time to share, you can help
CEC. Some of our volunteers help out by writing articles for our
newsletter, updating our website, helping with mailings or answering
phones. Contact the office nearest you to talk about ways in which we
can match your availability, skills and interests to our work to end
exposure to toxic chemicals.

Hudson Energy Services- You may have heard that your local public utility is now allowing you to choose who supplies the energy for electricity and natural gas for your home or business. It encourages you to select an Energy Supply Company (ESCO). National Grid is even offering a 7% discount on energy bills for two months for customers that select an ESCO through their New Choices Program.
Hudson Energy Services has not only pledged to help all of our members save money each month, but also to donate $50 per year (and for continuing years) to CEC for each member that signs up. When you sign up, you will still receive only one monthly bill from your public utility with no extra costs involved, with the service staying the same from your utility.
Through this fundraising program you and CEC would receive the following benefits: All taxes for energy delivery will be erased from your bill (approx. $30 savings/ month). All billing and service for electricity and natural gas will still remain with your public utility, with no fees involved. Additionally, the price for energy from Hudson will never exceed the rate for your public utility, ensuring that you pay a lower or the same price that you’re paying now. Fixed Rates are also available upon request. National Grid customers will receive a 7% discount on your energy bill for 2 months while customers of other utility companies will receive energy delivery credits. You will earn monthly income for CEC without costing you a cent!!!
Hudson Energy Services has made it simple for you to sign up and for CEC to receive money each month.
Go to: www.hudsonenergyservices.com Using our promotion code: CEC, enter in your name, address, public utility, and public utility account number. Within one to two months your energy bills will be decreased, with CEC receiving monthly income from Hudson Energy.
If you have any questions or would like a sign-up form mailed to you, then please contact Thaddeus Pinckney with Hudson Energy at (518) 372-1311
